Family Funeral Plan: What to Expect on the Day
On the day of the funeral service, the deceased will be taken to Barry crematorium in a suitable vehicle.
Upon arrival, the coffin will be placed in the crematorium's resting area. Then, ten minutes before the service is due to start, crematorium staff and the funeral director will position the coffin in the chapel.
Family members and other mourners (25 attendees maximum) will then enter the chapel for the funeral service. The service lasts for 30 minutes, with 20 minutes of chapel time. Entry music and exit music only.
Services can be held at 9:00am, 9:30am, 10:00am or 10:30am (Mon – Fri only).
