Here at Robert D. Johnson Funeral Directors, we understand that you want your loved one’s funeral to reflect the person they were in life. If our standard funeral plans don’t meet your family’s requirements – or if they just don’t feel quite right – then we can provide a bespoke funeral that’s specifically tailored to your needs and wishes.

Funerals on Weekends

We appreciate that it can be sometimes be difficult to get the whole family in one place on a weekday. This is why are we pleased to offer weekend funeral services – your loved one’s funeral can take place on a Saturday or Sunday for a small additional charge.

Motorcycle Hearse

If the deceased loved riding motorbikes, you may feel that a motorcycle is more appropriate than the traditional hearse. The coffin will be transported to its destination in a motorbike sidecar that’s specifically designed for this purpose.

Horse-Drawn Hearse

For families who want to give their loved one a truly traditional send-off, the standard hearse can be replaced with a beautiful horse-drawn carriage. We will provide the horses and the coachman, and the carriage itself has clear glass sides so that the coffin can be seen as it is carried to its destination.

Bagpipes

Bagpipes are a very traditional touch that can add extra emotional weight to a funeral service. Whether your loved one had Scottish roots, was a member of the armed forces, or simply enjoyed the unmistakeable sound of the bagpipes, we would be happy to provide a piper to help you say goodbye.
